Outlander at NYCC 2019: All you need to know about the panels today
Get ready for today’s Outlander panels at NYCC 2019. Here’s all you need to know so you don’t miss a single beat of the events.
It’s Outlander day at NYCC 2019! This is the day we’ve all been waiting for. There are two panels to look out for throughout the day, one of those up at Madison Square Gardens and the other at the Javits Center. Are you ready for everything?

You want to start the day at the Javits Center. Head to the SYFY Wire Live Stage, which is on the vendor floor in the back left corner, where the cast will take to the stage for a 15-minute chat. It officially starts at 12:30 p.m., but if you want to get a seat, you’ll need to get there early. These short chats fill up fast but you can stand around to listen to everything that the cast shares.
It’s not clear who will be there just yet. This is a chance for the cast to chat about their characters and what to expect in Season 5, so it should be Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe at the very least. I doubt it will include Diana Gabaldon, Ron D. Moore, and Maril Davis.
Make your way to Madison Square Garden
After the panel, you will get some time to wander around the Javits Center. There are panels on throughout the day at three locations. There’s only one you’ll want to reserve in your calendar.
Head up to the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden for 5:30 p.m. For an hour, the Outlander cast and crew will take to the stage to talk about the fifth season with Ginger Zee moderating.
This is your chance to learn as much as possible about the fifth season. You’ll also likely see a trailer. I wouldn’t expect a screening like last season, purely due to the timing of the panel. There’s only an hour available, and an episode is usually about an hour long! That wouldn’t be enough time for a discussion.
Signing on Sunday
If you got the lottery tickets, you’ll be able to head over to the autographing section on Sunday. The Outlander stars and author, Diana Gabaldon, will be there at 11 a.m.
