There’s a new behind-the-scenes photo from the Outlander set. One thing fans can’t stop talking about is the guy on the cellphone in the background.

If you’ve seen the latest Outlander behind-the-scenes photo, you know exactly what we’re talking about here. Just behind Sophie Skelton, there’s a guy dressed in 18th-century clothing with the horse. Not out of the ordinary? How about the fact that he’s on his cellphone.

Yes, we all know that this is a behind-the-scenes photo. It’s not happening in the actual show. No, this isn’t some sort of major spoiler that someone from the late 20th- or 21st-century is heading to the past. But that doesn’t mean fans can’t have some fun with it, right?

In fact, the show’s Twitter is having fun. It looks like there’s a time traveler in the midst. And with a show like ours, sometimes we just want to put a behind-the-scenes image into the show’s setting. Why not?

During Droughtlander, we’re looking anyway to remain entertained. We need something to do until we get new episodes of the series (and the new book). So, finding small things like this is entertaining.

The best thing is that recently, Steven Cree was spotted on the set for A Discovery of Witches in costume with his cellphone. That’s quickly lead to some fun posts about comedic credit and supporting Sam Heughan. The timing couldn’t have been better for the two behind-the-scenes photos.
