Droughtlander: Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries leaving Netflix in September 2019
Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries is one of the top recommendations for Outlander fans during Droughtlander. The show is leaving Netflix next month.
If you haven’t checked out Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries yet, then you’re going to want to right away. It’s an excellent show to get through Droughtlander, but it’s leaving Netflix in September 2019.
Set in the 1920s, the three-season series takes us through the life of Miss. Fisher, a private detective who doesn’t let being a woman get in the way. She has her trusty pearl-handled pistol and her sharp wit as she fights injustice throughout Melbourne. And she does it all while looking absolutely gorgeous.

For those who love the likes of Agatha Christie’s murder mysteries or the likes of Murder, She Wrote and My Life Is Murder, this is a must-watch. But you’ve only got a limited amount of time before it leaves Netflix, and I’m not sure which streaming service (if any) it’s going to after that. I’m hoping for Acorn TV to join its spin-off Ms. Fisher’s Modern Mysteries, which is another show to check out and set in the 1960s.
All three seasons of the Australia drama (and one episode includes David Berry!) are leaving Netflix on Sept. 15. You have a little time to catch up if you haven’t watched it yet. I then highly recommend an Acorn TV subscription for the excellent spin-off.
