Outlander’s Sera-Lys McArthur and Braeden Clarke filming a movie in Canada

Sera-Lys McArthur and Braeden Clarke are joining forces again after their emotional episode in Outlander Season 4. What do we know so far?

You loved Sera-Lys McArthur and Braeden Clarke in Outlander Season 4, right? The problem is their episode is so emotionally draining that you may not find it easy to rewatch to see their beautiful performances. Well, that won’t be a problem soon.

McArthur took to Facebook to share a photo of herself and her co-star Clarke. It turns out that the two are back together on the set of a new movie, being filmed right now in Canada. That’s about as much as she shares, although there are a few hashtags that could offer some clues of what to expect.

One of her hashtags is #TheFirstEncounter. Since it’s written like that, I decided to see if that is the name of the project. Sure enough, there is an upcoming movie with that title and Clarke and McArthur are listed as two of the actors on the project.

The First Encounter is described as a movie exploring an extraterrestrial dimension where colonization never occurred. It’s a look at what humankind stands within the universe and how one thing could change everything. Braeden Clarke is listed as playing a character called Cody Callingbird and Sera-Lys McArthur is listed as Alice on the movie’s IMDb.

This isn’t the first time she’s shared something about the upcoming movie. Earlier last month, she shared the call sheet for the first day. In this post, she made it clear that it was for The First Encounter, and the call sheet included both McArthur and Clarke on the list.
