Outlander Untold: Sam Heughan introduces the Marsali & Murtagh scene
It’s not long before the Outlander Season 4 DVD is released. The Outlander Collection has shared another look at one of the Outlander Untold bonus features, with Sam Heughan introducing it.
Before long, we’ll have watched the upcoming Outlander Untold scenes about 20,000 times. You know that’s right! Outlander Season 4 is on DVD and Blu-ray at the end of the month and this time there are special features filmed specifically for the DVD release.
The Outlander Untold features are more than just deleted scenes. They give us another insight into the side characters through specially filmed scenes. Marsali and Murtagh are in one of the scenes, which Sam Heughan introduced to fans on Mother’s Day.

Duncan Lacroix and Lauren Lyle will be part of the scene, as Murtagh and Marsali. It looks like baby Germain will also be a special part of the scene. As you know, Outlander Season 4 was all about family and that’s what this scene is all about.
While the show focuses mostly on Claire and Jamie, the Fraser family has grown considerably this year. Fergus and Marsali had their first child, bringing a grandson into the picture for Claire and Jamie – and yes, they doted on him in the season. Murtagh also started hiding out at Fergus and Marsali’s home in Wilmington, which is where this Untold scene will pick up.
We’ll get a chance to see Marsali and Murtagh get to know each other better. There were only a couple of snippets of their relationship here and there during the season. Marsali wasn’t exactly happy about a fugitive hiding out in her home but she also knew that he deserved protection and turned to him when she needed help with Fergus. We’ll get to see that bond more.
