Outlander Season 1, Episode 13 gave us plenty of well-known British actors, as The Watch paid a visit to Lallybroch. Here are my favorite moments from the episode.

During Outlander Season 1, Episode 13, The Watch paid a visit to Lallybroch. Immediately, Jamie was at risk and it was clear that the head of The Watch, Taran, had an idea as to who he really was. There were many great moments from the episode and now I share my five favorites.

This was an episode with plenty of familiar faces. The first time, I didn’t notice it as much because I was so engrossed in the story but I definitely noticed it in rewatches. However, this episode was also full of drama, confessions, and more.

5. Claire playing with Young Jamie while washing

This was a moment in Outlander Season 1, Episode 13 that made me wish we could have seen more of life at Lallybroch. It makes me wish Claire and Jamie could have had a life together in Scotland. As much as I love the story in the New World, there’s just something about the life in Scotland that I miss.

It was the moment when Claire and Young Jamie were doing the washing that stood out for me. We had a chance to see her being playful with her nephew, making it clear that while she may have had her doubts, she could make a good mom given the full chance. She would have especially made a good mom in the 18th century with Jamie.
