The Outlander Season 4 soundtrack is on its way. You’ll be able to own it in full in May. Here are all the details.

While we all adore Claire and Jamie and many love Brianna and Roger, there’s no denying that there’s one element the show would be nothing without. It’s all about the music and many of you will be waiting for the Outlander Season 4 soundtrack.

Composed by the talented Bear McCreary, the Season 4 soundtrack will be available to purchase from May 31, 2019. That’s just three days after the release of the DVD and Blu-ray, so you just know what your pay for the month is going on, right?

More from Outlander News

The soundtrack includes 21 tracks, according to Entertainment Weekly. These include the Brianna and Roger theme, which was composed for this season, “River Run,” and “Bear Killer.” Of course, there is also the Fraser’s Ridge theme tune.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, McCreary shared that the Fraser’s Ridge theme is important but it isn’t going to replace Jamie and Claire’s own theme tune. It adapts the Claire and Jamie theme, giving them something new to mark their place in the New World. The idea is to be able to live without constantly remembering the past.

While the soundtrack isn’t as good as the fifth season gracing our screens, it will help us through Droughtlander. You’re not telling me that you won’t get the soundtrack, right?

There’s no word on whether it will be on Spotify but I imagine it will be, as the previous three seasons are available. You can pre-order the Outlander Season 4 soundtrack CD from Amazon right now with the Price Guarantee to get it mailed out as soon as it’s available.
