Outlander Untold will continue throughout Season 5

If you’re looking forward to Outlander Untold on the Season 4 collection, there’s great news. There are plans to continue the segments throughout Season 5.

Outlander Season 4’s DVD boxset will see the addition of four Outlander Untold segments. If you’re looking forward to the scenes, there’s some excellent news. Season 5 will include some, too.

The Outlander Untold scenes are more than just deleted scenes. They were filmed with no intention of being included in the episodes. These scenes were done purely to tell more of a story for the DVD and Blu-ray buyers.

Four scenes will be included on the Season 4 boxset. They focus on the side characters, including Lord John Grey and William, Marsali and Murtagh, and more. The idea is to tell some of the smaller stories when there isn’t time to add them into the overall story. Fans will get to know the characters better and have a chance to see more content that just wouldn’t have fit anywhere within the season.

Sony Pictures made it clear that the scenes would continue into the fifth season. There’s currently a competition to win a chance to visit Scotland and be in one of the Outlander Untold scenes.

There are many hopes for the fifth season. These Untold segments are an excellent idea to delve deeper into characters. There’s no need to feel like they’ve taken up unnecessary time in the series but fans of the characters have the opportunity to learn more about their favorites if they would like.

Think of these scenes a little like the novellas. They will offer more detail if you feel you need it but you don’t need to watch (or read the novellas) to understand the full tale. After all, they don’t involve Claire or Jamie.

The downside about the competition is that only U.S. residents can enter. This will be down to legalities for the competition. However, the great news is that there are more stories on their way.
