Outlander Season 1, Episode 11 delivered the episode with the witch trial. Here are my favorite moments from the episode.

In Outlander Season 1, Episode 11, we got to see a witch trial take place. While witch trials may have been outlawed, this wasn’t something the people of Cranesmuir really cared about. And so, Geillis and Claire were put on trial with the risk of death.

It brought up some mentions of past episodes, some recent and some back to around Episodes 3 and 4. After looking at my thoughts while rewatching the episode, it’s time to delve into my favorite moments from “The Devil’s Mark.” Here are the five moments that stood out the most for me and why.

5. Geillis finally admitting the truth the Claire

I wanted to hear Geillis’ story much earlier than this. In fact, I’d love a mini-series just about this woman. She’s intriguing and fascinating.

What I did love about Outlander Season 1, Episode 11 was that we finally got to hear why she came to the past – and that she was definitely from another time in the future. We got to hear about her hopes and dreams, why she wanted to help the Jacobite cause.

Maybe had Geillis be honest as she suspected Claire to be from the future in the first place, things could have been different. This is the beauty of fan fiction to get those possible tales.
