It’s time to delve into the episode, into the best moments from “Not in Scotland Anymore.” These are my top five.
5. Jamie and Murtagh training
Dueling is outlawed in France but that doesn’t stop Jamie and Murtagh from training. I do wonder if the two would have actually risked anything by doing this, but it gave us a chance to see some of the beautiful locations in Prague, where Outlander Season 2 was filled for the Paris scenes.
What I loved about this part of the episode was that Jamie and Murtagh had a chance to talk. Jamie had the chance to run through some more of the plans to stop Culloden while Murtagh shared his own thoughts about what to do.
This was the point we really got to see Murtagh step out of his shell with Jamie. Up to this point, he’d mostly been a sidekick but he was being trusted with dangerous and valuable information. It was fun to see the development.
