Marsali didn’t get a lot of screentime on Outlander Season 4, but what she did get was excellent. Here’s her number one moment throughout the season.

Outlander Season 4 brought in more characters and more storylines. We got a little more focus on Fergus and Marsali as a couple. While there wasn’t enough time to fully develop the relationship or Marsali alone, there was some time to show her personality. It’s time to look at her number one moment from the season.

There were so many excellent moments. Throughout the course of the season, we watched her become a mother, stand up for her husband, and find a way to be more like Claire and Jamie. I know Marsali’s moment with Fergus when she supported his need to save Murtagh will be one of the biggest moments for the character, but there’s an earlier one that stood out the most for me.

During the beginning of Outlander Season 4, Marsali and Claire spent time growing their bond. Sure, it would have grown off-screen but we needed to see it happen. There’s a moment in Wilmington, where Claire is making it clear that there’s always a place on the Ridge for Marsali. However, Marsali and Fergus want to make Wilmington a success.

Marsali does open up to Claire more, though. She admits that she misses her mom. As much as she wants to connect with Claire and Claire does offer some good advice, there are times a girl just needs a mom. While pregnant, that’s one of those times.

It doesn’t help that Marsali doesn’t realize Claire was ever pregnant. Something I’d love to see is how Marsali reacts to Brianna being around, knowing that Claire could have been supportive and fully understanding the whole time.

We got to see Marsali at some of her most vulnerable moments. This continued after Marsali gave birth and, again, she had the chance to bond with Claire further.
