If you’ve ever wanted to experience a battlefield, going through a walking tour with an expert is key. Now you get a chance to go through the Alamance with Outlander author Diana Gabaldon.

The best way to experience a walking tour of any historical site is with an expert. Outlander fans have the perfect way to experience the Alamance Battleground. Diana Gabaldon is taking people on a walking tour of the battlefield and there’s brunch included.

Tickets for the experience are still available. However, there are only 40 tickets in total and as word spreads, they’re likely to go fast.

The Battle of Alamance is an important one for Outlander fans. It’s featured in “The Fiery Cross,” which is the novel the fifth season will be based on. It’s likely that the Battle of Alamance will take place during the fifth season. Something that is exciting is that Gabaldon will read a passage from the novel, which will likely be one that connects to this part of history.

Throughout the tour of the battlefield, Diana Gabaldon will share her research into the Regulators and what the battle meant for both sides. She’ll go into the events that led up to the battle, which will give fans more knowledge about the rising tensions across North Carolina in the world of Outlander at the moment.

Tickets for the tour are now on sale. They cost $300 for the whole experience, which takes place on Apr. 28. You’ll get a two-hour event, which will be a once-in-the-lifetime experience.
