When will Maril Davis’ Heard on Set begin for Outlander Season 5?

Maril Davis’ Heard on Set is a great way to get minor spoilers and an idea as to where the show is in filming. So when will it begin for Outlander Season 5?

Throughout Outlander Season 4, Maril Davis shared “Heard on Set” snippets throughout filming. They’d be lines from the scripts without any indication of who those lines belonged to, offering teases of things to come in the season. When will the snippets begin for Outlander Season 5?

Heard on Set can only start when filming begins. While the script readings have started, physical filming of the episodes hasn’t began yet. The cast and crew are only just starting to gather in Scotland, which means the actual filming will begin extremely soon.

Once the filming gets started, Davis will be able to share some of the Heard on Set snippets. This doesn’t mean she’s definitely going to do it. While fans certainly enjoy the snippets, they can be hard work to make sure the snippets remain spoiler free. It also doesn’t help that there’s a lot of negativity on Twitter right now, which is where the Heard on Set snippets take place.

Matt B. Roberts previously made his Twitter account private and later removed it. However, he’s back on the social media, possibly since the backlash and negativity surrounding Season 4 has slowed down. Davis may decide not to share any of the Heard of Set snippets to avoid backlash during Outlander Season 5. After all, there are already plenty of complaints about the series.

I hope the snippets are shared. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the accounts as the snippets could start any time now once filming is fully underway.
