You’ll see a lot of posts about Daily Lines from Diana Gabaldon from me. Do these posts contain spoilers? It depends on what you class as a spoiler.

Diana Gabaldon has helped us through the wait for Outlander Book 9, titled “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone,” with Daily Lines. While not every day, she shares snippets from her novel, sections that she’s been working on. The big question for many is whether they have any spoilers.

These Daily Lines were far more frequent in the earlier days of working on the novel. Now, they come twice a month or so, and that’s because Gabaldon is getting closer to the end of the novel. Each section of the story has major plot spoilers that she just wouldn’t be able to share.

And that should answer the question as to whether these Daily Lines have spoilers. Of course, it really depends on what you consider a spoiler or not.

Diana Gabaldon assumes you’ve read the previous novels for definitely. The Daily Lines focus on a number of different characters and if you haven’t read the previous novels, there are certainly some spoilers from them.

But what about spoilers for “Bees,” as the title is often shortened to? Well, there are some teases. In a way, these could be considered spoilers but, in my opinion, they hint and tease instead of spoil. In fact, Gabaldon makes a point of blocking out the spoilery parts of the Daily Lines when there are some because she doesn’t want to give the whole game away.

If you don’t like any teases at all, the Daily Lines are definitely not for you. If you’re not caught up and don’t want to know what happens between the book you’re on and Outlander Book 9, then they’re not for you. However, those who love trailers and sneak peeks from the show will likely love the Daily Lines as that’s what they’re mostly like.
