Outlander fans will soon be able to get STARZ on Roku TV
Just in case you didn’t already have enough ways to get STARZ to watch Outlander, Roku TV is offering another option this year.
There are currently multiple ways to get a STARZ subscription to watch Outlander. You can go directly through the service or sign up to the app through the likes of Amazon Channels or Hulu. Now Roku TV is jumping into the offerings to make sure you don’t miss a beat of your favorite shows.
Roku TV first got into its Roku Channel service in September 2017 with a selection of movies and shows you could watch for free, legally. Now it’s looking for a way to offer more of your favorite TV shows and movies through subscription services.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the service will work in a similar way to Amazon Channels. You’ll be able to make one payment per month for as many subscription services as you want. You’ll then be able to access all the subscriptions through one platform. The idea is to keep all your content in one place, so you’re not constantly jumping between different apps.
Amazon has already seen success with its Channels subscriptions, with CBS All Access added as the latest last year. In fact, STARZ subscribers are made up of roughly half coming from Amazon Channels, partially because this was the way STARZ initially offered its app.
STARZ and SHOWTIME are among the list of channels that will be added to the service. They will come at some point in late January and worked on throughout early 2019. You’ll also be able to access Roku Channels through your iOS or Android app.
Is it just too late in the game, though? Most people who have a STARZ subscription are either going directly or through Amazon. Hulu is popular but then that’s because it’s already a popular service for Originals and other content it has the rights to stream. It will be interesting to see if Roku manages to make a dent in the market with its offerings.
