What I should say is that these moments aren’t necessarily going to be happy moments. They’re the moments that stand out from all the rest; the ones that show off Caitriona Balfe’s acting skills. They are also excellent moments of character development for Claire Fraser.
5. The reunion
At the very beginning of the episode, we get this moment. Claire and Brianna reunite, and it’s just full of emotion. There’s this chance to see Claire go through every feeling she has. Of course, she’s shocked and happy to see her daughter, yet she’s also perplexed why Brianna would even consider coming through the stones.
Yet, Claire doesn’t question it right away. She just holds Brianna close, and you can see just how much she’s missed Brianna.
