Nell Hudson returns to TV in two shows in January 2019. Neither of them is Outlander.

Outlander fans will know Nell Hudson well as Laoghaire MacKenzie MacKimmie, but the British actress has done more in her time off from the 18th-century drama. She’s in two shows reaching screens in January 2019. Here’s everything you need to know.

Full disclosure, you will need an Amazon account to watch one of them (unless you’re in the UK, in which case you’ll have already watched it on BBC) and the other is available through Amazon Channels or direct through PBS.

The first is Victoria Season 3, which is available weekly on PBS starting in January. Reprising her role of Mrs. Skerrett, which she’s held from the first season, we’ll see her in 1848. Meanwhile, Informer will reach Amazon Prime VIdeo in January 2019. It’s a Prime Original in the States but aired on BBC and will be available through BBC iPlayer if you missed it. The series tells the story of Raza Shar, who is arrested for drugs. That opening storyline is where Nell Hudson comes into the series.

She’s Charlotte Humphreys, a drug addict who overdoses from a Class A substance. If you want to see her take on a modern and darker role, this is going to be the show that you’ll want to watch. You can watch it with your Amazon Prime membership from Jan. 11, 2019. All episodes will be available at once.
