The Sassenachs have spoken. Outlander has been crowned Just Jared’s Best TV Show of 2018.

It’s that time of year when various publications offer fan voting. Just Jared‘s fan poll has wrapped up, bringing you the Best TV Show of 2018 voted by the fans. And yes, you guessed it, Outlander has been crowned.

When it comes to fan voting, Sassenachs are there. It was a tough call between us and the ShadowFam. It always seems to be between the two of us, right? This time we came out victorious.

More from Outlander Fandom

According to Just Jared, 115,000 votes went in for Claire and Jamie’s love story. Meanwhile, there were 84,000 votes for Shadowhunters, which took second place. However, the voting wasn’t just between the two shows; they’re just the ones that came out on top.

Sassenachs accounted for 53% of the vote in the poll, which saw the likes of The 100ArrowSupergirlGrey’s Anatomy, and The Haunting of Hill House on the list. Most fandoms only accounted for less than 1% each, showing the force is strong with Sassenachs. Or did everyone have a set of stones to step through to vote again and again because in another timeline we didn’t win?

Last year saw some similar results. Sassenachs were there in force, but came second. Instead, The 100 took the #1 spot with 49.71%. We were only a few percent behind, so it looks like everyone was on it this year.

This comes after the news that Sassenachs made it into the Fandom 250 for the third year in the row. While we took a small knock, this should be a good sign as to why our fanbase deserves to move up a few places next year.
