4. Trying to get to the bottom of the problem

When the men refused the land, it was clear there was something wrong. Honestly, my belief is that if something is too good to be true then it probably is, and this plays into Outlander Season 4. Jamie got 10,000 acres of land for nothing except fealty. It was clear that there was a problem and now Jamie is struggling to find tenants.

Why? Well, Jamie didn’t brush off the questions and the reasons. He listened, learned the full truth, and started to put a plan in motion in his head. This is something Jamie has always done. He’s tried to work out a situation and find a balance and that’s just what he wants to do now.

3. The dream

To open the episode, we got a chance to see Claire and Jamie living their everyday lives. Claire was collecting items to help with the delivery of a baby, while Jamie was getting ready to head to Wilmington to find more settlers. In this scene, we got a beautiful moment as they talked about Brianna.

This time, it wasn’t a memory or something that could have been overshadowed by the mention of Frank. We got Jamie’s mention of a dream he had, which was how he knew about a birthmark. I’ll admit the conversation seemed to be just thrown into the scene and it could have been fitted in a little better, but it was perfect between them.
