2. The excitement hearing the news

As Roger delivered the news, Brianna was happy. In fact, she was ecstatic. This was something she needed to know, that her mom had found Jamie. And while they’d broke up through angry words, it was clear that Brianna still cared deeply for the man she wanted to lose her virginity to.

But that’s not all that I love from this moment. Brianna hears about the mountain range and realizes that they were walking the ground that Claire and Jamie were building Fraser’s Ridge on. It was a beautiful connection for her and showed that she was on the same wavelength as Roger while he mentioned it.

Seeing the joy and happiness in her face was beautiful and sweet. Sophie Skelton gave us a range of emotions within the few seconds that she was on the screen. You could tell everything that Brianna was feeling.

While she was happy and excited Claire found her man, it meant that Claire was living a life without Brianna. There had to be some longing and sadness there, as she misses her mother greatly. This all leads to Brianna choosing to go through the stones, but first, it’s time for my favorite moment.
