Outlander Season 4, Episode 2 taught a valuable lesson about the world of the Colonial South and slavery. However, we also continued to see Claire’s compassion and need to follow the oath she made. For #WomanCrushWednesday, it’s time to look at Claire’s moments throughout the episode.

Despite no longer being in the 20th century, Claire is living by the oath that she made. We saw her need to save people in Outlander Season 3, Episode 7. While not many people like that she tried to save her attacker, it was an important part of her character development and this continued in Season 4, Episode 2.

When she hears that a man has been attacked and his ear has come clean off, Claire immediately jumps into a mode to save him. She believes she can reattach it. At this point, she doesn’t need to know the full details. All she wants to do is safe an injured person, speaking to that part of her that will always be a healer.
