All the ways to watch Outlander Season 4 live and through playback

Outlander Season 4 will be here on Sunday. You’re likely looking for a way to watch the show live or at least within a day of it airing. Here are all your options.

Nov. 4 will see all Sassenachs (well, as many as possible) crowding around TVs to watch Outlander Season 4. Whether you watch it through the STARZ App as soon as it drops at midnight or wait until it airs on the network at 8 p.m. ET, you’ll want to make sure you watch at the same time as everyone else.

There are multiple ways to watch Outlander, especially in the United States. Some of your options will allow you to watch right away and others will mean you need to wait 24 hours from the STARZ App drop. Here are all the ways you can watch Outlander Season 4.

If you don’t mind waiting until the next day, Amazon Prime is the place to turn. Last year, you could get a season pass for the whole of the third season for $19.99 or buy the episodes for $2.99 each. It’s not clear if this is going to be an option this year, as Amazon Prime doesn’t label the season pass.

You’ll be able to catch up through the STARZ App the next day. All episodes are available for good since Outlander is a STARZ Original.

Watching it abroad

I can’t cover every country, but I will try my best. If you’re in Canada, W Network will air Outlander Season 4 live at 8/7c on Nov. 4. There isn’t a way yet to watch it early (well, at least, not legally and we don’t condone illegal methods). Hopefully, this will change when the Bell and STARZ partnership has been finalized sometime next year.

In the UK, you can watch it on Amazon Prime Video the following day. You’ll need an Amazon Prime membership to do this, but you’ll get each episode the day after it airs live in the States. Outlander Season 4 premieres on Nov. 5 in the UK.

If you want it earlier in the UK, look into the partnership between Amazon and STARZ. You can now get STARZPLAY through Amazon Channels, which offers you everything that STARZ has to offer. If you tend to watch the likes of Power, Vida, and Counterpoint, you’ll want to heavily consider this add-on. This is also available in Germany.

For Australians, FOXTEL will air the episodes live. You’ll get the premiere episode on Nov. 5, as the network brought the release forward a day due to popular demand.

There was supposed to be a partnership between Stan and STARZ, so you’d get access to the U.S. content in the same way people do in the States. This was originally shared in June, but according to some people in Facebook groups, Stan has said this isn’t happening. It’s hard to tell what you can believe or not, so always worth going straight to the source. If you’re in Australia and have Stan, reach out to ask them about the STARZ deal and share this press release.

Those in France can watch Outlander Season 4 through Netflix. It’s available the day after each new episode, so you can watch the premiere on Nov. 5.

The great news about all the options above is that they tell STARZ you want more Outlander. STARZ doesn’t rely as much on live ratings because of the subscription method but it does need to know that people are watching, especially as it starts to go global. So, you want to catch the show through the legit methods to make it clear you’re watching.
