Outlander’s Brianna and Roger knocked out of CarterMatt’s Shiptober
Outlander’s Brianna and Roger may have steamed ahead in the first round of CarterMatt’s Shiptober, but it’s not made it through the second round. Who knocked them out and why am I not that surprised?
The first round of Shiptober was excellent for Outlander fans. We were the only fandom to see two of our ships make it through to the second round. Claire and Jamie got through unsurprisingly and are now in the third round. However, Brianna and Roger have been knocked out.
I’ll be honest and say I’m not surprised, but it was a close call. They were up against one of the best ships on TV, in my opinion, Wynonna Earp‘s WayHaught (for those who don’t watch, Waverly Earp and Nicole Haught are the lesbian couple of the century).

The voting ended today with Brianna and Roger coming in with 45% of the vote. Since there’s no “abstain” option, WayHaught landed 55% of the vote and will go through to round three.
WayHaught will now go up against Grey’s Anatomy‘s Owen and Amelia. Honestly, Brianna and Roger would have easily taken them in the third round. It’s a shame they hit a hard round so early on.
For those wondering about the Sassenachs vs. Poldark round, Claire and Jamie steamed through to the third round of Shiptober with 93% of the vote. We knew that was going to happen, right? They will now take on Bughead (Betty and Jughead) from Riverdale. This could be a tricky one, so you’ll want to get voting as soon as it’s open. I’ll let you know when!
