People’s Choice Awards 2018: Outlander lands a nomination
The official nominations for People’s Choice Awards 2018 are out. After all that back and forth on whether Outlander was eligible, the fans rallied together to make sure we landed a nomination.
Outlander fans haven’t been happy about the People’s Choice Awards for a number of years, but this year has been the worst. After a change of time when the People’s Choice Awards 2018 air, E! had decided Claire and Jamie weren’t eligible for nominations. They soon backtracked and now the show has landed a nomination.
The People’s Choice Awards 2018 decided that Outlander could stand in the Binge-Worthy Show of 2018. While not listed on the nomination, fans were able to write the vote in. Once again, we’ve rallied together (because that’s what we always do) to make sure our show landed that official nomination.

Nominations were announced today and, sure enough, Outlander is on the list. It is going to be a tough category with 13 Reasons Why, Shadowhunters, Shameless, and Queer Eye also nominated for this award. Out of all those, the Shadowhunters fans are extremely loud and proud of their show and will get their votes in.
So, now what? It’s time to get voting for your favorite series in the People’s Choice Awards 2018. Anyone can vote from anywhere and you get to vote as many times as you want.
Visit the Binge-Worthy category and click on “Vote” in Outlander‘s slot. You’ll need to log in, whether via Facebook or email, and then your vote will be counted. Vote as much as you want throughout the day until Oct. 19 at 23:59 EST.
Outlander has won People’s Choice Awards in the past but didn’t receive the awards on TV. Hopefully, E! has figured not to annoy us Sassenachs after the most recent issue with not including the show!
