4. Why Brianna going to the past?

Again, Brianna going to the past really shouldn’t be that surprising but the reason might be. At the end of the Outlander Season 4 trailer, you’ll hear Tobias Menzies’ voice. How much attention are you paying to the screen at this point? Brianna is standing in 18th-century clothing with her hands up to the stones.

She’s clearly trying to go to the past. There have been spoilery photos that have shown this and book fans already know the full story. Chances are you’ve read spoilers of Brianna heading to the past.

The big question now is why? Could it be connected to the document that Roger finds? After all, he states that he has news about her mother and it doesn’t look like good news.

During the trailer, Claire mentions that they’re fighting on the wrong side of history again, but that’s probably not what has led to Brianna going to the past. Book fans will know the exact reason and I’ve looked at this before for those who want the spoilers.

Brianna goes back to save people. And yes, she is going back alone. Why doesn’t Roger go with her? Well, we’ll have to wait and find out, won’t we?
