7 biggest takeaways from the Outlander Season 4 official trailer

#1. Brianna will head through the stones

At the very end, it’s hard to miss Tobias Menzies’ voiceover, but do you look at the image on the screen at the same time? Brianna is dressed in 18th-century clothes and walking towards the stones. There’s a mirrored image of Claire going towards the stones in the Outlander pilot with her hands raised high, uncertainty, wonder, but fear in her eyes.

There are a couple of clips of Brianna in the past. It’s not clear exactly where she is in these clips, but one of them could be on the other side of the stones. Her hair does look a little windswept, which would make sense.

There isn’t anything that clearly shows Roger in the past, but there’s still time for that. As I mention, the Outlander Season 4 trailer is likely from the premiere and maybe the second and third (at a push) episode. This could mean no Roger in the past just yet.

While talking of stones, though, don’t miss the clip of the dancing around another set of standing stones. They’re in the middle of trees, which suggests these are the stones in North Carolina.
