3. We need more David Berry

The whole Outlander cast is excellent. They all have their own quirks and bring life to the characters we’ve ready for years. However, David Berry is one that stands out the most. With just a look you can tell everything he’s portraying for Lord John Grey. There’s the longing, the hope, the disappointment (that Claire is around, of course), and the love and adoration in every single look and line.

We need to see more of this actor on our screens. Out of all, he’s one that could take on the lead role in a show and it’s time that he got the chance for STARZ.

2. He’s a universally liked character

I haven’t seen a person say a bad word about LJG. Of course, I could be missing a few, but at least 99% of the fandom adore this character–both book and show form. He’s one of the kindest, smartest, loving men on the whole series.

If an Outlander spin-off was going to succeed, it would need to be with a universally liked character. LJG for the win!

1. It would make Droughtlander shorter

Getting a Lord John Grey miniseries Outlander spin-off wouldn’t be possible for the next Droughtlander. The timing is off for it all to fall in line. However, it would be a perfect way to get through the Droughtlander between Seasons 5 and 6.

The majority (if not all) of Outlander fans would tune in for a miniseries on this British officer. Six to eight episodes well-timed in the middle of Droughtlander would certainly ease the wait.
