Outlander Season 4 premiere date still not officially confirmed by Starz
Despite the Outlander Season 4 promo with the November 4 premiere date, this isn’t officially confirmed by Starz yet. However, it is a likely contender.
If you locked November 4 in your diary for the Outlander Season 4 premiere, I’m sad to say you may want to just have it in pencil right now. Starz is still to confirm if this date will be when the first episode of the season is released.
This is despite one of the official promos showing the date. It looks like it really was just a mistake in the release. The date could have been added as a place marker for when the official date was set or may have been a later promo ready for the official announcement. It did seem odd that there was no press release from Starz.

When emailing Starz for a confirmation of the date, many fans have been told there isn’t a set date just yet. However, the reps haven’t denied the date, either. This still keeps November 4 as a strong contender.
I’d previously put November 4 as one of my guesses for when the show would be released. Unless Starz decides to switch nights (and why do that when Sunday proved to be a good night last season?) then there are two good Sundays to work with: the 4th and the 18th. The former is the best option to run half the season before the Christmas break.
For now, we’ll just have to keep guessing and waiting. Starz will announce the date via a press release, so there’s at least that!
The Outlander Season 4 promo that did have the date has officially been taken down. This certainly suggests that it was a mistake all along. To make up for it, Starz has released a sneak behind the scenes with John Bell.
