How to watch Outlander Season 2, Episode 9 live: Free UK live stream

More4 will air Outlander Season 2, Episode 9 tonight. It’s time for Jamie to lead his men and get them ready to fight.

Just after getting back from Paris, Jamie and Claire are pulled into the war they wanted nothing to do with. After failing to stop it, now they need to make sure the Battle of Culloden is a success. That meant heading straight to Jamie’s grandfather and we know how that played out. With just a small group of farmers, Jamie has to make the most in Outlander Season 2, Episode 9.

Titled “Je Suis Prest,” Jamie starts to train his men. Of course, a handful of MacKenzies show up with the promise to fight their hearts out. Those MacKenzies are really only Dougal, Rupert, and Angus, but surely passion is worth more than numbers, right?

This isn’t going to be an easy hour for Claire. Remember that she was a nurse in World War II? Well, she’s about to get a few flashbacks of her time during that war. PTSD affects people at different times and this just shows how something can suddenly kick off all the feelings associated with an event in the past.

It takes a while for Jamie to realize what’s going on with his wife. After all, he’s got his uncle to deal with. Dougal wants to lead the men into battle, but Jamie is having none of it. These are Jamie’s men and he’s going to teach them his way of fighting. We know guerilla warfare wasn’t possible in the Jacobite rebellion and certainly didn’t happen at the Battle of Culloden, so I’m glad this was thrown in.
