Lauren Lyle decided to have some fun on Twitter while waiting for Outlander Season 4 to drop. In a joke about 18th century married life, fans joined in with their own thoughts.

Outlander Season 4 will drop on November 4, but there’s still a bit of Droughtlander to get through. At least we now know the exact date it will be over. However, to help get through it, Lauren Lyle has shared her own photo, joking about 18th century married life. Of course, fans quickly got involved in the joke.

Sharing a photo of a dressing room, she made it clear what Cesar Domboy was up to while waiting for scenes. While dressed in his costume, he sat on a chair with a very interesting device in his hands. It looks like Claire brought back more than penicillin and other medication from the future. She must have even gone forward in time first, as the device is clearly from the 21st century.

Fans also pointed out there was something else amusing. Fergus has managed to grow a hand, while also checking a device that would have been alien to him. The mysteries of Outlander grow even further.

We’ll completely overlook the fact that Lauren can be seen in the mirror with lights holding her camera as she takes the photo. Oh, and the plug sockets on the other side of the room.

Twitter used Outlander Kat did point out that not much has changed over the years. Married life is all about being comfortable doing your own thing in the same room.

With the photo, some fans have asked what is coming up for Fergus and Marsali in Outlander Season 4. There is a lot of hype around Claire and Jamie, understandably, and Brianna and Roger seem to be the second focus. However, there are lots of changes coming for Fergus and Marsali, as they are landing in the Colonies at the same time as everyone else unlike the book.
