Creation Ent urges all to check hotel cancellation policy in wake of New Jersey con changes
Many fans are understandably disappointed about the cancellations at the Outlander New Jersey con. Those who are thinking of not going anymore will want to check their hotel cancellation policy immediately.
If you’re planning on canceling your trip to the Outlander New Jersey con, you’ll want to check just how much money you’re possibly losing out on. It’s not surprising people are considering not going anymore after the news of Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies canceling their appearances, but Creation Ent wants to make you aware of one hotel’s policy.
Many con-goers will book the rooms suggested by Creation Ent. These rooms are close to the event and can mean a few discounts here and there. However, there is a drawback to those staying at the Embassy Suites Meadowlands.

There’s a 14-day cancellation policy. That means if you want to cancel your trip and are staying from the Friday night, you need to cancel it today. If you’re only going for the Saturday or Sunday, you’ve got a couple of extra days, but it’s not worth leaving it to the last minute.
Each hotel policy is different. Some offer free cancellation up until 24 hours before the check-in date. Others don’t allow any free cancellation. It will depend on what you booked at the time.
If you’ve already got the tickets for Creation Ent, I wouldn’t cancel anyway. Yes, it’s disappointing that Sam and Tobias won’t be there, but it’s still possible to have a good time. New guests will be added, just like what happened at the Outlander Las Vegas con. Many fans were excited about everything that happened and just loved chatting with other like-minded fans!
The tickets are already expensive but if you’ve only got one of the cheaper day tickets, you may be able to justify just not going at all. If you’re going to do that, check your hotel, flights, and other policies.
