The first official Creation Ent Outlander Las Vegas convention took place over the weekend. Here’s a roundup of everything that happened during the event.

While the first Outlander Las Vegas convention from Creation Ent may have been missing Sam Heughan, it was still an enjoyable weekend for all. There was plenty going on, including an epic karaoke night, Q&A panels, once-in-a-lifetime photo ops, and much more.

Here’s a look back at the weekend, bringing some of the biggest highlights of the conventions. Thanks to those who were at the convention to take photos and videos!

Steven Cree shares how being on the show has changed his life

Everyone’s lives have changed after being on Outlander. For some, it’s opened doors for new work, but for others, it’s opened doors for new friends. It’s the latter that Steven Cree brought up during his panel with Cesar Domboy. Despite never working with the likes of Cesar, Graham McTavish, Andrew Gower, and Richard Rankin, he’s become friends with them because of all the conventions they do together. It sounds like this is a highlight for many.

Catriona Balfe and Lotte Verbeek discuss character development

One panel highlight was seeing Claire and Geillis back together. That is, seeing Caitriona Balfe and Lotte Verbeek share a stage together. I always found it a shame that their characters’ journeys went the way they did, as I adored Geillis’ development and wanted to learn more. And that’s something that came up: the development.

Both shared how great TV is for character development, especially compared to movies. You can hear the whole answer to a fan question below.

More from Outlander Fandom

Remember the end of “Prestonpans?” As Angus laid on the floor dying, he said something to Claire; something that not everyone was able to hear clearly. One fan decided to ask him during his panel with Grant O’Rourke.

Of course, he never quite gave a serious answer. If you thought the two were funny on Outlander, then you’d love to see them on stage together. Their Outlander Las Vegas convention panel was full of comedic highlights.

By the way, the final line was “save me, Mistress.”

Caitriona Balfe, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin share favorite scenes

There are many scenes that stand out for the fans, and that’s the case for the actors too. Not all of those scenes are the ones they’ve been in. Richard Rankin’s favorite scene is an iconic and uncomfortable one from the first season, and he gives a beautiful explanation as to why.

Sophie Skelton has one coming up. Just as you think she’s going to give us an insight into Outlander Season 4, she pulls back. There may have been a little more of this throughout the Outlander Las Vegas convention.

Jamie Fraser makes an appearance

Since Sam Heughan couldn’t be at the Outlander Las Vegas convention, Creation Ent decided to have a little fun. They got an actor to dress up as the character and sit on the stage with Balfe and Verbeek.
