Outlander makes the TV Choice Awards 2018 shortlist
The TV Choice Awards shortlist is out and Outlander is included. Here’s all you need to know about the shortlist and voting.
Remember last month when you needed to vote for Outlander in the TV Choice Awards 2018? Well, that was just to create the shortlist of nominations. The way the voting for the awards works is that an initial list is given to the public for a shortlist of four nominations (or so) per category. Now it’s time for the real voting to find the winner.
Outlander was only in one category: Best Drama Series. It beat a number of popular dramas to get into the top four nominations for the category in the TV Choice Awards 2018 shortlist.
Now it’s time to get voting again. This time you’re definitely voting for the winner and there isn’t long to get your vote in. You’ve got until July 6.

The great news is you can vote multiple times. In fact, you can keep going in daily to make sure Outlander gets your vote for the Best Drama Series. It’s down as “Amazon Prime” as the network because this is a UK based award and that’s how people keep up to date with it. While it’s on More4, the network is only airing Season 2 right now!
Unfortunately, A Place to Call Home, the Australian drama that stars David Berry, didn’t make it through to the shortlist. However, the likes of Peaky Blinders and Poldark (two popular series to get through Droughtlander) are nominated in various categories.
