Outlandish Outlander Fan Panel at Denver Comic Con: Giveaway announced
Denver Comic Con goers will have the chance to meet other Outlander fans at the Outlandish Outlander Fan Panel. There’s now going to be a giveaway and an extra meetup for those who want to join in all the fun.
One of the great things about comic cons is the chance to meet up with like-minded fans; those who love the same characters, the same stories, and the same universes are you do. Denver Comic Con is no different and will host the Outlandish Outlander Fan Panel on June 15 at 6 p.m. local time.
A fan panel isn’t something official set up by the show. It’s just what it says on the tin: a panel run by fans for fans. In this case, it’s run by three women who run their own blogs and podcasts dedicated to Diana Gabaldon’s world. You’ll get to meet A Dram of Outlander’s Desirre Andrew, Outlander Medicine’s Karen Daugherty, and Outlander Behind the Scenes’ Courtney Williams.

This is a panel that’s designed for audience participation. It’s all about looking back over the last three seasons and looking ahead for the fourth season. Yes, there will likely be spoilers for those who haven’t read the books yet.
It sounds like this will be very much like C2E2’s Podlander Drunkcast’s event, but maybe not with the live podcast recording.
Outlandish Outlander Fan Panel giveaway
The hosts have decided to put on a giveaway. The first 100 people at the event will get an Outlander TV tie-in book. There will also be a special prize for the best cosplay dedicated to the series. Then there are other giveaways throughout the panel for the participation.
After the panel, there will be another chance to keep chatting. The event will finish about 7:30 p.m. and then it will be off to the Hyatt Regency for drinks together.
One of the benefits of this is getting to meet other Outlander fans in the Denver area. There will be many in and around the local area, so you could even find new friends to chat to in life.
