If you ever get the chance, Podlander Drunkcast Live is something you want to see and participate in.

C2E2 is one of the pop culture events of the year. You get to dress up as your favorite fictional character, see your favorite actors, and buy some of the best geeky stuff around. It’s an event many look forward to. C2E2 2018 is only on it’s first day and has already been the day for the Outlander fandom. Not only was there two cosplaying as Claire and Jamie, but the Podlander Drunkcast was recording live.

This is most definitely something you want to see live when you get the chance. Allison, Julie, and Janine (Aaron) are the sweetest people you will make, welcoming newbies to the area, greeting the listeners who have never made it live before, and making their regulars feel loved and appreciated. And on top of that, Peanut Butter Cups were given away to those who got involved. What isn’t there to love?

For April 6, the trio decided to do a debate over particular subjects, including Bonnie Prince Charlie’s tartan dress (the mention of the calves won it), Frank Randall, and Sophie’s Skelton’s accent. Allison and Julie would argue for or against and it would be up to a member of the audience to decide.

With both sides of an argument (and done extremely well when it wasn’t the real view but the luck of the draw) everyone was represented. There is even an avid book fan and show-only fan to showcase all sides. Nobody has to feel excluded, which can sometimes feel like the way for those new to the fandom.

While not child friendly (unless they have iPads and headphones, which mine totally did), it is one of the best ways to end a night at C2E2, especially the first night. Podlander Drunkcast is for all fans and the perfect way to get through Droughtlander, and seeing it live is a must for all Outlander fans.
