Sophie Skelton latest Outlander star added to Highlanders 3 convention

UK Outlander fans looking for a convention in August will be happy to hear Highlanders 3 has added Sophie Skelton to the panel. She joins Caitriona Balfe, Tobias Menzies, and more.

If you’re an Outlander fan in the UK looking for a convention, look no further than Birmingham in August. From the 10th to the 12th, Highlanders 3 is taking place and you’ll get the chance to meet the likes of Caitriona Balfe, Tobias Menzies, and Richard Rankin. Another guest has just recently been confirmed by Starfury Conventions, which runs the unofficial event. Sophie Skelton will be at Highlanders 3.

It doesn’t say how many days she will be there for. Not all actors can make it for every day of the event. For example, Menzies is only there for one day (and that day is still to be confirmed) likely due to filming The Crown Season 3.

There’s hope Skelton will be there all weekend, as Balfe is confirmed for. Outlander Season 4 filming should have wrapped by this point since the first convention for the show is in July in Paris.

Unlike many other conventions, Highlanders 3 encourages fans to come for all three days by making the ticket pricing simple and keeping the ticket prices affordable! The Standard Ticket is £110 and will grant you access to all three days without hassle. This includes access to all the events and panels, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies. The Gold Package, which includes extra access to Friday night events and bonus autographs, has already sold out.

Child tickets are available and children under the age of 7 are admitted free of charge.

Details of party themes, photos ops, and autographing sessions still need to be confirmed. This will likely come as more guests are added and the schedule for current guests are confirmed. Skelton will be added to the official page shortly and was only announced earlier today.
