If you’ve ever wanted to sit down with Diana Gabaldon and hear her speak, the Highland Tea next Sunday is the perfect chance.

Diana Gabaldon is trying not to travel too much in 2018. Her aim is to remain home and finish her novel, “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.” However, that doesn’t mean you will miss out too much. Next Sunday will see another Highland Tea with Diana Gabaldon, with book purchases available that you can get signed.

The events which will be held at the Kilted Cat in Flagstaff, Arizona, is a one-day only eventn on April 29, 2018. It’s going to be very similar to the same event held in previous years. You’ll get the chance to hear Gabaldon talk more about her beloved “Outlander” series and learn more about her progress on the next novel.

One of the favorite parts of the event is the hat contest. Wear a hat and enter the competition to see who has the best one.

And of course, you can buy her books. All books are sold by the Northern Arizona Univerity. This is a ticketed event and all tickets must be bought in advance through Jude MacKenzie of the North Arizona Celtic Heritage Association.

The cost of the event has certainly gone up in recent years and that’s not surprising. There’s a Facebook event from the Highland Tea with Diana Gabaldon from 2013 that shows tickets were $30. Now they are $80, showing just how popular this event has become. It’s all a case of supply and demand.
