The Commuter available on DVD today: See Colin McFarlane in action

Colin McFarlane is taking on the role of Ulysses in Outlander Season 4, but you can see him in action before that. His latest movie, The Commuter, is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.

While many Outlander fans are waiting for Season 4 to make it to screens, there is the chance to see some of the actors in other roles. That’s the case for one of the most recent additions to the cast. Colin McFarlane, who will take on the role of Ulysses, is in The Commuter with Liam Neeson. The movie is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray and certainly not one to miss if you enjoy Taken-style action movies.

Neeson stars as Michael, who finds his normal and routine commute home becomes anything but. Before he reaches his last stop, he needs to uncover the identity of a stranger who has contacted him, which soon finds him in a criminal conspiracy and deadly plan. Not only is he in danger, but all the passengers on the train.

McFarlane is credited as Conductor Sam in the movie. You’ll get the chance to see him in action, giving you an idea of his acting style and abilities before moving into Outlander Season 4. It’s a movie that McFarlane has been extremely excited about and definitely suits the action fans.

Outlander Season 4 is still filming and McFarlane has now found himself a major fan of the novels. You’ll not just get the script version of the character, but elements of the novel’s character meshed in. It looks like he’s started the story with “A Breath of Snow and Ashes,” which is actually the sixth book in the story. Does that mean some of the sixth novel will be pulled into the fourth season? That’s something we’ll have to wait and see to find out!
