Outlander season 3 Blu-Ray is jam-pack with exclusive bonus features

With the Outlander Season 3 Blu-Ray hitting stands in Europe, we’ve been gifted with our first look at the collection’s incredible bonus features!
As Outlander fans in North America continue to count down the days until Season 3 arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray, new details pertaining to the Season 3 release have begun to trickle out thanks to the series’ early release in overseas.
While non-European fans not so patiently wait for Season 3 to become available in our neck of the woods and take to social media to express to vent our frustrations in the delayed North American release, we here at Claire and Jamie have chosen to focus on the benefits of the Season 3 set’s advanced release: details on the collection’s bonus features!

With Season 3 hitting shelves in Europe, the complete and in-depth look at the collection’s bonus features has made its way online giving us our first look at the collection’s incredible array of special features.
Keeping with tradition, the Outlander Season 3 DVD and Blu-Ray collections will include new deleted and extended scenes as well as a gag reel that is sure to delight. The collections will also come jam-packed with bonus featurettes including The Transformation of Geillis Duncan and A Traveling Show Takes Sail which will be featured on both the DVD and Blu-Ray collections.
If you’re looking to get the most bang for your buck, though, we highly suggest spending a bit more to splurge for the Season 3 Blu-Ray collection, which will feature a total of seven additional bonus features exclusive to the Blu-Ray release.
Among the exclusive Blu-Ray featurettes are Of Lost Things – Additional Scene with Lord John Grey & Lady Isobel Dunsany, Claire & Jamie: Together Again, Jamie’s Revolution, Claire: Through Time and Saying Goodbye to Frank & Johnathan Randall, which aim to shine a light on various highlights from the season with help from the cast.
Then there is original chemistry test between Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, which is sure to be the collection’s standout featurette and, finally, a string of Outlander podcasts which make for a great listen on a rainy day.
All-in-all, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment pulled out all the stops yet again with its latest addition to the Outlander DVD and Blu-Ray collection as the Season 3 set is one that is sure to be a hit among fans!

As of press time, Starz’s Outlander Season 3 DVD and Blu-Ray set is scheduled to be released Tuesday, April 10 in the U.S. but it is likely that the release date could be adjusted.
