Outlander Season 4: New casting call gives Canadian fans the chance to join the cast
By Cody Schultz
Outlander fans have been sent into a frenzy following a recently released Outlander Season 4 casting call giving Canadian fans the chance to join the Season 4 cast!
It’s a good day to be a Canadian fan of Outlander! In what might be one of the most unusual casting calls yet, the Lisa Parasyn Casting agency has issued an open casting call for Outlander Season 4 extras who will not only get the chance to appear in Season 4 but will receive an unforgettable trip to Scotland free of charge!
In the recently released casting call, the Lisa Parasyn Casting agency has begun a search for more than 100 extras to join the Season 4 cast to help bring to life an 18th century Native village. While the roles will be non-speaking, they are said to play an integral part in the Outlander Season 4 storyline.

Selected actors will be whisked away to Scotland for three to four weeks during the months of May and June to appear on screen alongside the stars of the series. In addition to receiving a weekly fee for their work, all actors’ travel and hotel expenses will be covered, thus essentially providing the lucky extras with the ultimate Outlander experience. An added bonus, no on-camera experience is required for the roles, which will allow any and all Outlander fans the chance to go out for the role.
Here’s the catch, though. For unspecified reasons, the casting call is only open to Native Canadians, who must have a valid Canadian passport and a Native Status Card – something that has managed to get fans talking on social media.
Those lucky enough to fit the bill, can throw their hat in the ring this weekend during the two open casting dates scheduled on March 3 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Clarion Hotel located on 117 Elm St. and March 4. From 10-4 at the Indigenous Friendship Centre located at 980 Cassells St. In total, the Lisa Parasyn Casting team is searching for 70 young Native men, 10 older Native men, 25 Native women and 10-15 Native children ages seven and older.
