Fans who love Outlander and real British history would have been excited when opening Facebook on Feb. 1. Historian Alison Weir shared the upcoming tour dates for Caledonia: The Splendors of Scotland tour. The main photo certainly caught Outlander fans eyes, as it was of one of the most iconic locations used for filming.
Part of Weir’s tour looks like it will include Midhope Castle. The 16th century building was used as Lallybroch, the home of the Frasers. Full details of Weir’s tour haven’t been released yet. They will be shared from Feb. 9 to all those who have requested them. The tour will run from May 17-26, 2019 and all tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
