Outlander season 3 may be over, but there are many moments to watch over and over again.
Droughtlander is a time to look back over episodes and see small things missing the first time. Sometimes, an episode can be more enjoyable the second time around. There are fewer hopes of elements being added from the books and a chance to view the show as a separate entity.
Outlander season 3 certainly had some of the most beautiful and outstanding moments. Some weren’t even part of the book. Here’s a look at the best moments throughout the season.

#9. Seeing the struggle for Frank
While Frank is not one of the most liked characters Outlander season 3 showed his struggle. This is also more of a series of moments than one particular moment. He wanted to be happy that Claire was back, but she couldn’t keep herself from the memories of Jamie. It was never going to be easy knowing your wife had come back to you still in love with another man.
Frank gave Claire an out. All he wanted was for Claire to be completely with him when she was with him. In the end, he just needed to know if there was ever a chance that she could have forgotten Jamie without Brianna being a constant reminder. He was heartbroken knowing that it wasn’t possible.
While it doesn’t excuse anything he did or said, it was important to see that struggle from Frank throughout the 20 years until his death.
