‘Outlander’ Pop! Vinyl Figures

Have you seen the addictively adorable Pop! figures around? Maybe at your local Barnes & Noble or comic book store? Maybe you even have a few… they are insanely collectible and irresistible. They come in all kinds of pop culture names and shapes and are really great at taking up space on our book shelves.

So, Outlander fans… What do you think of the little figurines?

I, for one, love Claire! I think they did a great job capturing her hair and showing her 18th century clothes like she wore in the show. With that being said, I’m slightly confused as to why they called her Claire Randall on the packaging… I suppose that’s how she starts out, sure, but most of us refer to her as Claire Fraser.

Now let’s talk about Jamie… I don’t know about any of you, but when I found out there were Pop! figures for Outlander, the very first one I wanted to see was Jamie’s, for obvious reasons. I HATE this iteration of Jamie. Now, clearly the Pop! figures aren’t supposed to be true-to-life, what with their Brat Dolls-esque large eyes and crazy square heads. Still, though, his hair is weird and the facial hair is kind of creepy. I like the Dougal Pop! more than Jamie’s, and I could care less about a Dougal Pop! any other day.

As far as Black Jack and Frank are concerned, I think they are fine. No complaints there.

Now, I wish they’d do Round 2 for Jamie. And not give him a pornstache this time.
