Eliza gets a chance to prove herself to Blake in Miss Scarlet season 5, episode 2. Here are all the details so you don’t need to miss out on this one live tonight.
In the premiere episode, we learned where William is and why he’s not returning. The Duke has been offered a permanent position with the hope of promotion with the New York Police Department. There was no way that he could turn it down, but Eliza decided that she couldn’t join him.
And so, she ended up meeting the new detective inspector, who has no interest in working with private detectives. After too many bad experiences, he has decided that he and his own police officers can do the job perfectly fine. Well, that may not be the case in the new episode.
How to watch Miss Scarlet season 5, episode 2 tonight
The new episode airs tonight, Sunday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. You’ll be able to tune on in PBS live tonight.
If you can’t watch it live, the episode will stream on PBS Masterpiece afterward. This is available via Amazon Channels, and you’ll be able to watch the episode the following day. This is also where you can catch up with the series, and where you can watch the latest episode over and over again!
What to expect in Miss Scarlet season 5, episode 2
The new episode will see the murder of the Guild of Private Detectives chairman. Of course, this means that private detectives will want to work the case. Eliza will definitely want to work the case, and Blake may find that he needs to work with her.
Blake is already starting to make enemies within the Guild of Private Detectives by making it clear that he doesn’t need them. While Eliza is willing to prove that she is needed, the others may want to prove that Blake is wrong in other ways.
Meanwhile, Ivy will get an opportunity, and that could affect her engagement to Mr. Potts. Could this be linked to the need for a new secretary at Scotland Yard?
Miss Scarlet airs Sundays at 8/7c on PBS.
