The third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty has started. Two episodes have dropped on Prime Video, and now eyes are on just how many episodes are left.
The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 is super-sized compared to the previous two seasons. There’s a lot to fit into this story, and it’s going to take us into the fall with plenty of drama, love, and tears.

There are 11 episodes in total to this season, and that’s much bigger than the first two seasons. For comparison, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 1 had just seven episodes, while season 2 was upped to eight episodes.
It makes sense to add more to this final season, making sure that the whole of Belly’s story has been wrapped up. After all, the book We’ll Always Have Summer by Jeny Han is packed with juicy drama and another back-and-forth over who Belly will end up with. Which brother does her heart really belong to?
When will The Summer I Turned Pretty series finale air?
The benefit of knowing the episode count is that we get to know the series finale date. Yes, this is still the final season of the series, and it makes sense. We’ll Always Have Summer is the last book in the story. Like with To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and that trilogy, which was made into a Netflix movie series, it makes sense to wrap up the story where Han has with The Summer I Turned Pretty.
With 11 episodes and the first two out now, we can work out when the finale will air. After this week, there will be one episode dropped per week, and that takes us through to Wednesday, Sept. 17 as the finale.
Who will Belly choose in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3?
It’s clear that Belly still has a choice to make. She knows that her first love is the strongest, despite urrently being with Jeremiah. One of the benefits for Belly recently is that Conrad has been away, and that means he is out of sight and (mostly) out of mind. With him back in her life, the memories come back, and that means feelings could come back.
Jeremiah is clearly worried about this based on the trailer. Is that was encourages him to propose, even though the two are still in college and too young to make such a big decision?
