Fraser’s Ridge ticket holders get to take part in Turtle Soup on the Friday night of The Gathering 2024. Here’s a look at what happened during the event.

The Friday night is time for Fraser’s Ridge to meet the cast and get to know about them. It’s all about Turtle Soup, which, yes, gets its name from a particular soup Claire got to eat in Outlander. There’s nothing like that at the event, though!

Instead, this is a chance to meet the cast in a slightly more intimate setting. With 10 cast members, there were two for each table, with the group split across five tables.

Light food and drinks available to start

Before the cast gets in, the Sasnak team likes to make sure attendees are looked after. As everyone else leaves the building to find their own food, Fraser’s Ridge ticket holders are invited to the glass bridge at the World War I Museum to gather for some light food. There is also an open bar for people to enjoy something while they get to know their fellow tier members.

This lasts about 30 minutes, giving everyone, including the cast, time to get something to eat. After all, Friday is a long day otherwise!

When the cast arrives, two would go to each table. There was then 17 minutes for selfies and to get to know the cast members. In previous years, the selfies have been at the end, but Sasnak City switched it up a little this time. It did go a lot faster, as everyone wanted to hear from the cast.

Once the 17 minutes were up, the cast would then stand and move to the next table, with everyone moving around in a circle. The process would repeat until every cast member had been around each table.

It’s a great time to hear some fun stories. This time, cast members would sit together so that it could help prevent mini conversations happening at the table. The team members were also there to make sure people didn’t monopolize the cast with conversation. It is a favorite moment for a lot of Fraser’s Ridge ticket holders.
