Blue Mountain is another chance to chat to the cast and get to know them. Here's a look at what went down at The Gathering 2024.

Saturday night at The Gathering 2024 brought us Blue Mountain Tipples and Nibbles. This is another chance to meet the cast.

All Lallybroch ticket holders got Blue Mountain included in their tier. There were also tickets available to purchase, with the purchases done by a random draw to make sure it’s a fair chance for people to get a ticket.

Here’s a look at the events of the night during The Gathering 2024.

A small gift for Blue Mountain attendees at The Gathering 2024

Things have changed a bit for Blue Mountain over the years. There used to be a table of snacks in the middle of the room, but that changed a couple of years ago. This year, there was even a change with the way the drinks were done.

Before, people have been able to get up during a break with the cast to grab a drink. To keep things running smoothly this time, team members handed out Post-It Notes and pencils to get people to write their drink order down. When someone wanted a drink, they just had to hold up the Post-It and the cash for a team member to get the drink for them. It was a great way to ease off the timings.

A chat with the cast at Blue Mountain

The thing that was the same was the way the chats worked out. There were 10 tables set out (and every attendee already knew which table they were sitting at) and a cast member would go to each table. They’d have 10 minutes to chat to the people at the table, and as the cast members rotated around the tables, they moved around the table to make sure everyone got a chance to sit next to a cast member.

Like with other similar events, there were some rules. Blue Mountain doesn’t include any selfies. In fact, all cameras and bags need to be under the table. There is also (obviously!) no touching the cast members, and no monopolizing the conversation. To be honest, it’s best to just let the cast members start the conversation and talk about what they would like. Usually, it’s a fun story from a time of filming, or a story about their life.
