It’s time for the aftermath of the passionate weekend away in The Couple Next Door season 1, episode 4. The images are out. Let’s take a look at what we can expect.
During the previous episode, the couples switched partners. Evie got her wish, a passionate night with Danny. Meanwhile, Pete tried to be with Becka, but in the end, he couldn’t do it. How will he take the aftermath knowing that Evie had her way with another man?
Evie heads to her parents’ house in The Couple Next Door
The comments about the condom breaking and Evie being on the pill are sure to come up. There is no way that Evie was on the pill considering she and Pete had been trying for a baby. Pete made it clear that he had weak swimmers. There are all these clues to give away what’s sure to come up.
Evie is surely pregnant. It would make sense why she would head back to her parents’ house. She’s even with the church congregation, and she has a smile on her face. Either she finally has the baby that she’s always wanted—and she’s willing to pass it off as Pete’s for now—or she has gone completely mad. Either could be true!
Pete isn’t anywhere to be seen in the images of Evie with her parents and sister. This would suggest that Evie and Pete are growing further and further apart.
Pete confronts Danny in The Couple Next Door season 1, episode 4
Meanwhile, we have images of Pete and Danny in the street. It looks like Pete is confronting Danny, and this is surely about the building site. Pete knows that Danny was there the previous day. Danny may say that he wasn’t, but Pete is a journalist, and he knows what he saw. He won’t easily be misled.
Of course, the confrontation in the street could also be linked to the night with Evie. Once Pete finds out that Evie is pregnant (assuming she is) then he will know that it’s Danny’s baby.
Maybe Pete will find out about the other woman as well. Could Pete end up blowing up Danny’s life as well as his own?
Alan gets back home after his sordid decisions
At the end of the previous episode, Alan had what looked like a heart attack while in Danny and Becka’s house. His wife saw, and she likely did call for medical help. Of course, it will mean that everyone knows Alan was in that house, and it won’t be hard to guess why.
Becka learned that her video is out there and there’s a website dedicated to her love for fun in the bedroom. It’s only a matter of time before she figures out that Alan got the video and decided revenge porn was a good idea.
