Lives are on the line in Outlander season 7, episode 13. Here’s a look at the promo to see what we can expect.
The previous episode was purely in 1778. We got to see reactions to Jamie being back alive, the fallout between Jamie and John, and William struggling to deal with the truth about who his father is.
Now it’s time to jump back into the many other storylines happening. There’s danger for everyone across the timelines. Here’s a look at the Outlander season 7, episode 13 promo, and then we’ll get into the breakdown:
Rachel struggles to deal with Young Ian going off to war
Rachel and Claire will get some time together in Outlander season 7, episode 13. Claire is used to Jamie going off to war. Does that mean it gets easier? Of course not, and I think any spouse of someone in the military or in the police force or even in the fire service will agree. You never know if the day is going to be the last, and that’s something you just have to accept each time.
Claire is honest with Rachel in the promo of the episode. I’m sure as much as Rachel would love to hear that it gets easier, she appreciates the truth.
Jemmy is trapped underground somewhere
We finally get a glimpse of Jemmy! He’s trapped, and it looks like he’s underground somewhere. Of course, this has to be somewhere that Rob Cameron knows well enough to be able to lock Jemmy up.
Brianna is stick between a rock and a hard place. She wants to kill Rob and threaten him to tell her where her son is, but he has all the power. If she kills him, Jemmy is lost forever. Or is he? That’s a risk Bree will need to decide if it’s worth taking.
Roger and Buck head back to the stones in Outlander season 7, episode 13
In the last episode we saw of them, Buck and Roger were on the hunt for Roger’s dad. Now it looks like they’re heading back to the stones. We see them walking up to a set of standing stones, and they’re calling out for Jemmy. It’s clear that they still believe Jemmy is in the past somewhere.
Will they finally find Roger’s dad, though? There are just four episodes left of the season, so they have to find him eventually, right?
Lord John Grey will need to use his wits and skills
As a British officer, Lord John Grey will have some skills. He’ll be able to survive outside in the cold. Even though he’s been seriously injured by Jamie, he will still have his wits about him. He’s going to need to work hard to survive, though.
Lord John Grey has escaped the Rebel camp. He’s survived the gunshot that was aimed at him, suggesting that he wasn’t hit. However, people are out looking for him, and it’s not Jamie coming to save him!
Jamie gets his blue coat in Outlander season 7, episode 13
We knew from the main promotional material for the season that Jamie would wear a blue coat. In the previous episode, he reunited with George Washington. Now it’s time for him to wear the blue coat.
George wants people to feel like they are in an Army together. This is why they’re wearing a specific uniform. Jamie is taking control of a battalion, which means dressing the part. I can’t wait to see Claire’s reaction considering she knows some of the history.
Outlander airs on Fridays on STARZ.
