Terence Rae was one of six new cast members added to Outlander: Blood of My Blood. He’ll take on the role of young Arch Bug.

Don’t expect the same Arch that we know of in Outlander Season 7. This is a man who has been through one Uprising but not the second when we get to Outlander: Blood of My Blood. He hasn’t seen the French gold yet, and it’s not even clear if he’s married to Murdina just yet.

The prequel series will see him as the bodyguard to Clan Grant. This likely means he’ll have some interactions with the MacKenzie men at some point as the Grants are important to Ellen MacKenzie’s story.

Where you’ve seen Terence Rae before Outlander: Blood of My Blood

The question for many is where you can watch the actor before the Outlander prequel series. Rae doesn’t have the largest career of the cast, but he has a varied one.

According to his IMDb, his first on-screen role was in 2013 in the short #conniesflat. He played Gregor in this drama. Connie allows a group of people to party in her flat, only for that party to end up spiralling out of control.

He then took on the role of Dean in Wasteland 26: Six Tales of Generation Y. This is a series of shorts that tell the story of 20-somethings in 2015 with a vengeance.

His most recent production is in Black Dog in 2023. This movie follows two teenage boys who are from very different walks of life in London. They head on a trip north, where they learn that despite their backgrounds, they actually have a lot in common. Sometimes, it’s amazing how two life experiences can have so many similarities.
